Consultation, Whether In-Person or via Zoom

Together, we'll strategize your session, covering themes, backdrops, and outfits. Experience the studio ambiance and explore our product offerings and wall art. Following this, you'll finalize the session date/time and submit the session fee.

Image Review/Ordering Session

Approximately one week post-session, we will reconvene for you to preview the soft proofs of your exquisite images. You have the freedom to select and order only the ones you adore.

Delivery of Products

Around 4-6 weeks following the image reveal, your order will be prepared for pickup. While it may seem like a wait, you'll gain access to your digital images much sooner.

  • Typically, I prefer scheduling your maternity session shortly after you've shared the exciting news with friends and family. This allows us ample time to find a mutually convenient day. For newborn sessions, reaching out 1-2 months before your due date ensures securing your spot. However, feel free to inquire at any time—it's never too late to book a photo session!

  • The session fee encompasses a pre-session consultation, wardrobe and styling guidance, complete use of the client closet and studio props, the actual session time, and professional image retouching. However, it excludes both physical and digital images. The session fee initiates at $350, while prints and products start at $200, and collections commence at $690. Opt for a photographer with trustworthiness, insurance, safety training, and a style that resonates with you—remember, you only have one opportunity to capture those invaluable newborn moments!

  • Every newborn possesses a distinctive appearance. Typically, within the first week or two, that unique newborn quality begins to fade, making it more challenging to achieve certain poses. The goal of newborn photos is to preserve that initial look, so I advise scheduling the session as early as you can. Nevertheless, a seasoned newborn photographer, such as myself, can still create beautiful images with extra patience and skill. Feel free to contact me even if your baby is beyond the two-week timeframe—I'll do my best to capture precious moments with expertise and care.

  • Sessions usually last between 1 to 3.5 hours, averaging around 3 hours for newborn photography. Maternity and family sessions typically take about an hour. Since we dedicate time to calming, comforting, rocking, and posing the baby, newborn sessions may take a bit longer. The presence of lively toddlers can also extend the session time.

  • Rely on me as your newborn photographer because I hold safety certification, carry full insurance, and possess extensive expertise in capturing the charm of over a hundred newborns and babies. Ensuring your little one's safety and comfort is my foremost concern, and my training guarantees a secure setting during the photo session. With abundant experience, I know how to handle and photograph newborns and babies with tenderness, patience, and skill, creating enduring and beautiful memories for you to treasure.

  • We collaborate with our clients to choose a location that suits their preferences. For newborn photography sessions, we offer on-location outdoor photoshoots in places like parks, gardens, beaches, woods, or urban settings. While I specialize in studio photography, I recognize that this is a busy time for you, and you might prefer not to leave your home. If you need us to come to your home or another location for an event, don't hesitate to reach out—we can discuss the details!

  • Our specialty lies in capturing beautifully posed newborn portraits within our studio. We handle all the arrangements, including props, outfits, and setups, which we discuss and finalize during the consultation session. All you need to bring is your precious baby! To ensure a smooth newborn session, we provide a newborn prep guide in the pre-session consultation, outlining crucial details to consider beforehand. A key tip: try to keep your newborn awake for at least two hours (or as long as possible) before the session to enhance the chances of them sleeping, resulting in adorable sleepy shots.

    For maternity and family sessions, my primary advice is to wear something that makes you feel both comfortable and beautiful. A secondary suggestion is to opt for safe, solid colors – neutrals like black, white, gray, cream, tans, and browns are ideal. Avoid clothing with text, patterns, or logos. Adding textures can enhance photographs, especially for Moms. So, go for something simple yet classic that truly captures your essence.

You'll have the chance to explore and preview all these wonderful products during the consultation. Rest assured, all our products are printed with archival ink on archival materials, ensuring longevity across multiple generations.

  • We recognize that life is full of surprises. If you or your little one isn't feeling well, or if the weather isn't favorable on the day of your session, no need to stress! We're more than happy to reschedule at no extra charge. However, it's important to note that failing to show up without prior communication will lead to the forfeiture of your session fee. Your satisfaction is a top priority, so feel free to reach out if you need to reschedule, and we'll gladly make arrangements for you.

  • Absolutely! I enjoy including mom, dad, and your other children/siblings in our session photos. While you, dad, and baby will likely take center stage, I believe it's crucial to capture several photographs with the entire family, especially during maternity and newborn sessions. Grandparents are also welcomed in the sessions. The session fee remains the same for families of 5 and under. Feel free to inquire if you are considering an extended family session.

Although my main emphasis is on newborns, kids, and family photography, I occasionally provide services for events and headshots, especially for clients I've previously collaborated with.
